Imagery was by far my biggest challenge in this project. Midway through, the client decided to remove their kitchen and bathroom work, even though these sections had been part of the original wire frame. The strongest images, and most of the limited professional photography, came from those areas. These were also some of the first pages completed, which made the change especially tricky.

I had to regroup and source all usable images from their social media accounts. Most of the photos were taken by the client, so things like framing and surroundings weren’t really considered. There were are a lot of tables with only 3 chairs. Around 80% of the images used on the site needed Photoshop work, to salvage with what I could fix.

This was a case of adapting constantly: shifting design layouts to suit changing priorities, finding creative ways to enhance photos, and translating copy into a structure that would still support SEO rankings. It wasn’t straightforward, but we made it work, and the final site is a strong reflection of both the TKEL brand and the flexibility I bring to complex builds.
